Hello friends,
today I'll post my list of all pet quality/ wooler quality French Angora babies for sale .
Tomorrow I'll list all show quality French and Giant angora babies that I have for sale at this time.
I am not sure at all if I will be able to attend or deliver buns to ARBA Convention this year, I am trying to start college for the October semester and if I get all the paperwork accepted in time, I will be attending classes daily plus working and will not be able to go to a 6 day long bunny show.
These babies can be picked up at my home in central GA, or I can try to find a ride for them via transport to a show, or transport with a traveling Breeder . My friend Lauren Waters is planning a trip from east GA to west PA on August 18, maybe you can meet her en route to pick up a bunny she can transport.
MY next planned rabbit show will be the NC Mountain Fair , September 8, in Fletcher NC, I can transport buns there with prior deposit and arrangement . E-mail me for more info at akolifrath@gmail.com
This fuzz ball is a 8 week old SABLE French angora Doe with a tiny white spot under her nose, over her lips. This is a color DQ for showing, so I'll sell her as a pet. Her Mom is Grand Champion AA's Q-tip, a sable pearl. Dad is a black French Angora, AA's Gideon. Gideon must be carrying the gene for spots, or might have a tiny white spot himself to create 3 spotted babies in a litter of 5. He did father several other litters with other does that did not show spots on babies, but, this pairing wasn't the best one.
All of the babies in this litter are of outstanding health and vigor, and have a very nice type ( conformation ) and excellent wool. I can see very nice texture to the wool, nice amount of guard hair and good crimp. Density for bunnies this young is oustanding. Both Parents give me 7 oz. Prime wool every 5 months. Both parents grow wool evenly and can hold a 5 inch coat.
Both parents do not molt easely, and are harvested with scissors, the babies will most likely need scissor harvest as well and will most likely not pluck easy .
As you can see in this picture, SABLE is a nice dark brown color.
This Picture shows the rest of the gang that also has a tiny white spot under the nose, and they are also for sale as pets/ woolers.
To the left you see a CHOCOLATE DOE , in the middle a show quality Sable Buck that will be featured tomorrow, to the right a BLACK DOE also with a tiny white mark under her nose.
Quality of these guys is excellent, as described above. Litter mates to the bunny above, same parents.
Price for each one of Q-tip's wooler babies will be $ 65.00 , including a birth certificate, no pedigrees issued for pets or woolers to prevent using them for breeding. IF you want to breed, you should purchase a show quality angora that is free of DQ's . If you want to breed just for your own wool supply, if you are a spinner, you'll not need a pedigree :) When you e-mail me, please specify which color and sex bunny you are interested in, I have a total of 25 babies for sale and can get confused if you do not specify. These are babies out of Q-TIP.
UPDATE : SABLE DOE sold to Charlotte Patrick
CHOCOLATE Doe still available
BLACK Doe still available
So, this is the list of pet quality bunnies from my barn, e-mail me asap if you are interested in any of them.
Read about the transport possibilties, I can NOT hold on to these guys for very long, I do not have any more cages to seperate pet babies into, these guys have to find a new home soon or will be processed.
NO shipping at this price, since I do not charge for gas etc to get to the Vet and Airport. Pick up or transport via Van only.
