HOT! HOT ! HOT ! SALE on Bunnies

Hi Folks,

well, summer has arrived in Georgia :( It's so hot and humid outside that chores for the animals outside pretty much take all day :( Cats, dog and bunnies need cold drinking water 2-3 times a day, the retired woolers in the tent barn need ice cubes in their water bottles twice a day as well as a big industrial fan blowing from 9 am till 11 pm. The fan doesn't cool off the hot air inside the tent, but, it helps circulate some air around their hot ears. On days that I am at home, I spray water on their ears, to help them cool off, but all of that only lasts for a few minutes. Being in a severe drought and using well water only on my land, I can not afford to drain the well with misters and sprinklers, so the buns will have to adjust to the heat, so far so good.
The spoiled guys in the barn with A/C have it nice, the temp stays at around 78 inside the barn with the A/C pretty much running none stop all day long. It's been in the upper 90 degrees for days now, mostly at around 97 to 99 degrees. Humidity levels are at around 60-75 percent.
At night it cools off to 80 degrees by 11 pm, at that point I open up the rabbitry, and allow fresh air to circulate the building till morning, giving the guys some much needed fresh air. Temps will not cool off much at night now, not till fall, this morning it was 77 degrees when I woke up at 7 am, pretty warm :(
Buns are all still eating well, and a new bale of Orchard grass hay is much appreciated by all. Many babies are now 8-9 weeks old, time to separate the litter into buck and doe cages. Today I started, with Kate's babies and Denise's babies, 3 boys in one cage and 3 girls into another. First dose of ivomec as well during their first grooming session inside the house, another sexing, checking for DQ's ( toenail color, teeth, looking for spots, checking tail, looking at hind feet to see if they are cow hocked, looking at eye color ) , then overall assessment of quality. A little grooming with the small slicker brush, a little petting and loving on, last but not least a few minutes with the camera , well, at least half the new pics came out OK :):)
Here are a few pictures of the babies, the few that got checked today :
This is AA's Meghann's litter. Meghann is black, and Daddy is black. The babies where weaned today to give mom some rest, her cage got too small and hot with 4 big babies in there as well. These guys are 5 weeks old now and look very promising.
From the left, we have a blue buck ( will stay here for now) , a black buck next to him, followed by two black does. No visible DQ's at this time, everything is as it should be. These guys have very bold round heads for their age, very pretty, off course they didn't want to show them off for the picture like they do in their cage. The wool is very pretty right now, a lot of shiny, pitch black guard hair. Types are promising, still a lot of growing and developing to do. They are big for their age, a lot bigger then other litters a few days younger then this litter. AA's Meghann has a picture on my website, in the french angora doe page, if you care to see what Mom looks like :)
The little blue buck is currently wearing a masking tape ear brace, yes, in case you are wondering what that thing is on his head. HE likes to hide under a sibling or two, and his siblings like to use him as a cushion :( so, his ear got bend or cartilage broken 2 days ago, and it is hanging straight down :( The masking tape ear brace will help the cartilage heal, hopefully in the up right position, to make him show quality again. He's now housed in a much larger cage, hopefully he can get away from his siblings and have a little peace and some cool air for his ears.
The brace will be removed every 2 days, air allowed to circulate around the skin for 30 minutes, then new brace applied. This will go on for 2-3 weeks, to see if I can fix his ear or not.
The little black buck is sold to go to a spinner home in Savannah GA, along with a red baby buck.
The two black doe's are still for sale, $ 75.00 each incl. pedigree etc.
This is a new picture of AA's Kate's black baby doe. Now 8 weeks old, she sure looks like a French Angora now :) First grooming today, I really like her texture and density, sadly you can't see all of the spiky guard hair that she has in her wool right now. Type is promising as well. In 3-4 weeks I'll make up my mind if I want to keep her or sell her, for now she's on my list of keepers.

This REW buck to the right is out of AA's Kate, brother to the black girl above. A nice little buck at 8 weeks old, nice wool growth already :) HEAVY for his age, he might grow to be as big as his daddy, AA's Gideon. Promising little guy, he's sold to Lauren Waters in Ellebell, GA to be shown and used for breeding.

This little REW Doe is the last out of Kate's litter, and a beauty she is :) VERY Promising texture and density, no Dq's, very nice type at this time and sweet temperament. She has real long wool already, a good sign of things to come.
Kate's picture is on the right side of my blog, with her last BIS award, see her wool and you'll know :)
I am posting this doe for sale as crazy as it may sound, I can NOT keep another REW doe in the barn at this time ...... most of my show stock is REW :( Someone interested in showing and improving their FA stock should buy this doe ...... she's for sale at this point for $ 120.00 incl. pedigree ( with G.C. dam with 2 all breed BIS ).
I still have 2 adult REW French does for sale, their info is below in another, older post. AA's Connie is still for sale, and my 6 months old REW Doe is still up for grabs.
At this point I am having a sale on these does, for spinners ONLY, breeders / show folks need not ask to get these prices ........ Spinners can purchase the adult doe's for $ 50.00 each ...... no pedigree at that price but a birth certificate with all of the important info. Grooming and clipping demo included as well. Both doe's have extreme density to their wool, will give 6-7 ounces of prime wool each harvest time. IF not interested in showing and breeding, but want to give an adult bunny a good home, these girls are for you !!
Contact me at akolifrath@gmail.com if interested, I can try to arrange a transport from GA up I-95 to PA ( drop off along that route) for $ 40.00 plus cost of carrier IF I know before July 4.
I will also have some pet quality French Angoras available at low prices, for spinners/ pet folks only, no pedigree, just a birth certificate. These bunnies, who will be listed with pictures soon all have a cosmetic disqualification which will keep them from placing at ARBA shows. Some of these dq's are hereditary, so I will not sell them for breeding purposes. Colors will include : black, chocolate, ruby eyed white. More info on these buns in a different post.
Keep cool and enjoy your summer, keep your buns cool as well and keep them clipped down as much as you can. I am still ( and again ) clipping now, to keep the hot wool off of the bothered buns. One more month and it's going to be time to start grooming the fall show coats again, yuck:(
Grow those herbs in your garden, and do not forget to include herb treats in your bunny's diet : Parsley, dandelion, kale, plantain, mints( not for nursing does ), all liked and good for buns. Moderation is the key when feeding fresh greens.
Stay cool, till my next post,
Angie K:)

All the work is done !!

Well, it's Monday now, and all the barn work is done !! All cages cleaned, all buns clipped & checked and treated with Ivomec, all litters that needed weaning got separated, now every cage is full. 2 adult French are flying to NY this week, EARLY in the morning. 2 french babies will be moving to south GA in 2 weeks, and one REW Buck out of AA's Kate will take up residency in Lauren's Rabbitry at the same time. A few other bunny sales are in limbo pending finding rides for the buns.

Time for tats this week for all 6 & 7 week old babies, my least favorite thing to do with rabbits, besides culling day. Time to pull apart the big litters, separate in girl cages and boy cages, to give each baby a bit more room to stay cool. It was 87 degrees outside last night at 10 pm when I turned off the A/C in the rabbitry and turned on the big fan to pull air into the rabbitry, 87 degrees and 80 % humidity :(

Had to clean nest boxes on all of my new litters, here is a picture of my Giant litter, 7 days old, 4 babies left. You can see why I had to clean the nest box material, they eat so much that they cover each other with pee LOL Was tempted to give these babies a bath, but, clean hay will rub off some of the stains.

I had taken a picture of Q-tip's ( French ) litter too, but, can't find it in my photo files now, who knows where it is :(:(
I checked colors again, she has 1 black, 3 sable and one solid chocolate :)

This is a picture of AA's Calypso's litter, 12 days old, eyes open and very active. Good fresh orchard grass hay was welcome by the lot and they all started to nibble on the hay. Calypso, being black himi was bred to a lilac himi, so I hope that her 3 ( for now white ) babies will show points soon. One of the white babies was camera shy and disappeared into the hay before I had a chance to take a picture of all of them. The brown baby you see here in the nest box is a foster baby from Q-tip's litter, Calypso had so much milk to give that I had to give her a forth baby.

My green Dodge Caravan is being retired to the scrap pile ( if I can find the guy that buys junk cars ) . 9 years of rabbit show travel service has reduced the vehicle into a pile of scrap :( It's leaking water someplace, the reservoir is always empty :( can't find the leak :( The head gasket was replaced 18 months ago, and is leaking again :( oil all over the engine :( Mechanic took a look 2 weeks ago, looking at $ 3,000 or more in repairs. PLUS car rental for that 2-3 weeks while the Van is in the shop :( So, I bit the bullet and went looking for a good used bunny wagon, something in my price range for a comfortable 3 year loan. Found only one Van that was good for bunny transport, but a beauty it is: a Pontiac Montana. Bucket seats, removable, tinted windows, power everything, sliding doors both sides, A/C in the back ........ silver to reflect the sun and heat. Got to put a few dollars into it to have it in 100 % shape, need front end alignment, new shocks, but, someone babied this Van for 5 years before it got to me LOL Looking forward to taking my first trip to a bunny show in this Van, it will be nice.

I am also looking into going back to college and am researching the financial situations right now. I have to work the little bit of work that I can find here in the country, which isn't much without some sort of certificate or degree. Working and school and work at home will be tough ( my work is during school hours ). Will have to find out what financial assistance I can get, to maybe cut down some work, and have more time to attend school, to get done faster. A lot of stuff to consider for now. IF I do sign up for College, I'll be going down to Macon GA to the Tech. College, and will be going full time ........ no travel to Convention then:( Convention will be during school session, and most classes have a strict attendance policy, miss more then 3 days a semester and you get a "failed" :( IF I get in for the September classes, I'll be going to school while the angoras are being judged at Monday morning in Grand Rapids, BUT, I'll be having a REAL job, with vacation time, benefits and much more money in time for Louisville KY Convention, and would be able to go to a nice restaurant and be able to afford to enjoy my little vacation ( coming from someone who hasn't been on a real vacation for 7 years due to finances ).
Like I said, a lot of things to consider.

My sister Ulla just graduated from Griffin Tech Nursing program last week, her pinning ceremony was on Thursday. She's a LPN now. She'll be looking for a job in one of the big Hospitals in Atlanta after she passes her board certification test, she was already offered sign up bonuses of $ 4,000 or more. CONGRATS Ulla, proud of you !!!!

Well, that covers it for today - hope your week will be filled with good news and comfortable temps, I have to run outside and turn the compost pile now before it gets even hotter:)
Angie :)

Complete List of available bunnies

Perfect Angora Bunnies for Sale
To the left you see two pictures of my sweet 13 months old girl AA's Connie.
She's still looking for a good home. Perfect for showing and breeding, Connie would be happy in a spinner's home as well. She has extreme density to her wool, and great texture. Her last haircut gave me 8 ounces of prime wool. She's wanting to be bred now to enjoy a litter, but, since she's for sale, I rather not commit to another 3 months of keeping her. The ONLY reason why I am selling her is that I have her full sister, also white, with a BOB leg already, and I do not need to keep half of every litter. A buyer can have this beautiful girl for $ 100.00 including pedigree with 10 Grand Champions in 3 generations.
Her Mom is Grand Champion AA's Kate, sable, with 2 Best in Show legs, her Dad is AA's Luke, a sable pearl Grand Champion.
IF you plan to show and breed her, the niddy gritty details on this gal include a tad pinched HQ and one tad lazy ear ( NOT on the show table ) , born in May 06 this gal grew up in a rather hot rabbitry.

I also have a 5 months old Ruby eyed White doe out of Grand Champion AA's Q-tip ( sable pearl ) bred to AA's Simon ( white) , show quality Doe which has been shown twice and received good comments. She's rather shy and should go to an experienced angora wrangler :), she does groom well and is NOT aggressive. NICE density to her wool, even growth of wool, nice type, nice HQ and very nice shoulders. I am keeping her sable sister. Only fault on this doe : too much wool on the front feet , needs to be bred out. AA's bloodlines , at least 8 Grand Champions in her pedigree that I know of. $90.00 incl. pedigree

This little white French angora is a 5 week old baby out of AA's Cinnamon, my red Doe, bred to AA's Stephan, my lilac tort buck. The picture doesn't give her credit at all, but, 5 week old babies are hard to pose right and they do not want to relax when in a strange environment.
She is a girl, and she will be for sale at 8-9 weeks of age, I am taking deposits on her now. Her Mom is a real sweetheart that is always at the front of the cage looking for some loving, she is teaching her children right now how to be nice with humans. These babies will be weaned in a few days . Show quality at this time, I can not find any dq's on this little girl. Mom is 8 1/2 pounds, so this litter should all turn into ideal weight french angoras and NOT max out at 11 pounds. Dad is a 9 1/2 pound drum with extreme nice type and wool.
Dad WILL be registered in a few weeks. $ 70.00 incl. Pedigree

This is a picture of one of the red babies in Cinnamon's litter. now 5 weeks old, and SO scared when not in the cage LOL That will not last long once we get used to coming into the living room once a week for a grooming. Soon they'll be looking to jump off the grooming table to be able to chase the cats around the house.
I have 2 red girls in the litter and 3 boys. one boy will stay here, one girl will maybe fly to VT. I have a deposit on the best out of the litter. Other then that, a few are still for sale. I have one red boy that is 100 % pet quality or for breeding, he's missing most of his tail. Mom docked it while "changing diapers". He can not be shown like this, but since it's a injury, he's fine to be used for breeding or for wool and as a pet. HE will be for sale at a discount, $ 65.00 All other boys will be $ 80.00, does $ 90.00 , all others ARE free of any dq's at this time. at 5 weeks of age I can not comment on quality , that will come in the next few weeks./ At this point I can say that they are growing, are healthy, do have bones in the right places and do have wool starting to grow. Color is very nice, a deep sorrel, no smut . Contact me to get on the waiting list for one of these rare red French.

THIS bunny is already practising for posing on the show table, I kid you not !!!!! 6 weeks old, black, a Doe !!
Mom is AA's Kate, her info is above next to Connie's picture. Dad is AA's Gideon, my super black Buck. Gideon is a brick covered in wool, I pray that he'll keep a coat long enough this fall to attend some shows. Gideon is the best black I have ever produced, no stray white hairs in his coat, he is a self black. $ 100.00 incl. pedigree.

This is the 6 week old black buck out of the litter, brother to the doe above. Also show quality, no dq's at this time.
Very nice texture for the age, promising density. Type will show itself in the coming months, at 6 weeks old there isn't much to tell and feel. By looking at the pedigrees, these guys should turn into very nice show bunnies and if sold into a pet home, should give 7-9 ounces of prime wool each haircut. $ 90.00 incl. Pedigree.

This is a picture of the white sister in the litter, she did NOT want to sit still on the grooming table !!! IF I could have gotten her to pose, she would look just like the black siblings above.
NO dq's at this time, promising little girl that would be great for showing and breeding, or as a pet to the right home. $ 100.00 incl. pedigree.

Contact me via e-mail for more information on any of the bunnies above, and to get on my waiting list for one of them. For more info on my angoras and some articles, please visit my website at www.angiesangoras.com

Didn't find the color you want or like ??? I have several more litters in the nest boxes, they will be available in 8 weeks. Colors include black, blue, sable, ruby eyed white, himi.

I also have a brand new litter of GIANT angoras in the nest box, all will be white.

Spring cleaning !!

Hi Folks,

well, I seemed to be complaining about being too busy in my last blog, however, Friday morning I decided to take advantage of a long weekend without day time work to clean the rabbitries and clean up every bunny. Spring cleaning so to speak, to get ready for even warmer temps and being able to leave the bunnies at peace.
A few coats grew back very uneven and thin on a few moms that just weaned litters, and few buns grew back enough wool to make them uncomfortable. So, the scissors came out as well as the toenail clippers, Ivomec syringe and box of baby wipes.

A good " cleaning " in my Rabbitry goes like this : 1 or 2 buns at one end of the cage rows come into the house for a few hours and sit in transport cages. Next , the cage is taken apart as in removing all plastic sitting boards and soaking them in hot bleach water or Vanodine water. food dishes, toys and water bottles go into the house for a soaking in bleach in the sink. The cage floor is scrubbed with a wire brush to remove any stuck manure, a yard stick helps break off " strings of pearls " from under the cage. Next, a good spraying with Vanodine water in a Windex spray bottle, then removal of wool, cob webs, dirt etc. Next, a bucket with more hot vanodine water will help with a rag to remove the last stubborn dirt, dust and urine stains. Both cages will be cleaned this way, the pan under the cage is flushed and the cages are left to dry. Last but not least, a second spray bottle holds 100% Listerine ( original) that is sprayed all over the cage to kill any parasites that might be lurking. I return to the house to pay attention to the bunnies. I clip any wool that needs clipping, growing coats get a good grooming with the slicker brush ( no shows in the area now, so I do not have any coats that need blowing, not yet ). Coats under 4 inches long do not need much grooming, so I have it easy at this time of the year. I check ears well, I check the skin for possible fur mites. Then we work on the belly, groom belly wool, clip wool around the private area short, clip toenails, and clean the vent area with a baby wipe. I pay close attention to the hind legs, looking for matts in the long wool on the bottom of the feet, cut it shorter if needed. I check for sore hocks. Then bunny is placed one more time on the grooming table and gets a dose of Ivomec 1 % orally to prevent fur mites and ear mite infestation. My calendar is marked to repeat the dose in 14 days. Bunny is placed back into the transport cage and rewarded with a treat, mostly a small piece of banana. Then the second bunny gets the same treatment, and both return back to their now dry cages and two more buns come into the house.

It sounds labor intensive, but, this way is actually very efficient since a lot of cages in a row are cleaned, a lot of buns are treated to a spa day and everything is clean and parasite and germ free. WHY treat a bunny for fur mite prevention or infestation, and not clean the cage and treat it as well ????

All bunnies that received a complete haircut will be sprayed as well with a healthy dose of listerine to condition the skin , kill off active fur mites, and take away some itch from having been clipped. They don't seem to mind it, actually, they enjoy a good massage to rub in the listerine well. They don't seem to mind the taste of it as well, they go right to grooming themselves .

I do this routine about once every 8-10 weeks, by that time every bunny and cage will need a good spa day. Between the cleaning days I clean food dishes and water bottles as needed, as well as some cage floors. Some buns are better housekeepers then others.

So, Friday I did 10 buns ( including 8 hair cuts) ...... Saturday I managed to do 8 buns ( including 6 haircuts), Sunday I had company but still managed to do 2 buns and cages, today I will finish off all that will be much easier, no haircuts needed, just clean cage and Ivomec. Last but not least, the purchase of a NEW MOP will make barn floor washing tonight a breeze :)

I also managed to take pictures of all of the older babies, and will post a list of sexes and colors of all for sale in the next blog.

Have a great week :)

Angie :)

MORE Babies !!!!

SO sorry for not having posted anything in a few days, the bunnies have kept me so busy the last few days. I come home from work, drop everything and head out to the barn, only to realize by 8 pm that I got minimal work done and no supper ready yet. Well, some days/ weeks will be like that.
Temps have soared into the mid 90's this week, with finally high humidity. Will stay like this or get worse till November now. The fans are installed, summer cleaning schedule is in place, fly traps are hung, weekly cleaning of air conditioner filter , fans and cobwebs has begun. I have to knock down 20-30 spider webs every week in one barn alone, combine that by two barns plus my phobia of spiders in general :(
Main reason for being in the barn so much- babies in every cage pretty much :)
My oldest litters ( 2 ) are 6 weeks old today, time to start weaning. Denise will be moved into a new cage, and her 2 boys will receive boys from other litters to hang out with for a few more weeks. AA's Kate will also move into a new location, her 30 x 36 cage needs to be used for my Giant Doe AA's Monique who is due in a few days. The cage has baby saver wire and I don't want to risk babies falling out of the cage and down into the gutter.
Kate has 2 boys ( one black , one REW ) that can move in with Denise's boys, and another cage has to be emptied to receive all weaned girls. Kate also has 2 girls ( one black, one REW ) that need their own cage for a few weeks.
AA's Cinnamon's litter is 5 weeks old now, time to start sexing, and slowly pulling a few buns out of the litter and placing them into baby cages. So far all of the reds look real nice, deep sorel color and no smut. I will take individual pictures of all of the babies and post them here over the next few days, 2 reds are promised already, contact me if you need / want one.

Fantasia & Meghann are doing great with their litters, the babies opened their eyes now and are curious about the outside world. Sometimes one will hop out of the nest to play with mom or take a nap in the food dish, then they hop back into the nest box. In both litters I have black and blue.
NEW mom's are : AA's Q-tip, grand championed sable pearl doe with extreme density , beautiful coloring for a pearl and very nice type gave birth to 5 babies one day early. All babies deposited inside the nest box, wool pulled, well fed by the time I found them. SHE delivered in the afternoon, unusual for angoras. Mom is eating well and feeling good now that the brood was delivered. Colors seem to be : black, sable, maybe blue and maybe one chocolate. No shaded in this litter. My black buck AA's Gideon is the daddy and he's very dominant with his self color genes. AA's Calypso, my grand championed black himi doe, bred to a lilac himi half brother gave birth to 3 very big and fat babies yesterday, again, all where delivered fine inside the nest box and where happy, warm and fed by the time I found them early in the morning ( 4 am delivery ). Calypso fed them again while I was in the rabbitry cleaning, watering and feeding last night, hunched over her babies and head tilted over her shoulder and looking at me, as if to say: " look Mom, I am taking good care of them :) " This is Calypso's first ever litter.

ONE more litter due , a Giant litter, and then a break from nest box duty for a little while, have a few more doe's to breed before summer . Now just to keep all the water bottles full, all the food dishes full and all of the baby's cool enough to not let them drop their ears.

Time to bring the 2 new nest boxes into the house this afternoon and cut up the pulled wool into smaller bits, angora babies know how to spin and can make a fine thread to strangle with or tie off a limb :( Will take pictures of the new litters and post them here tomorrow :)

A good day to die ( dye )

Once I received an e-mail, person asking me if I knew how to die ....... well, I can read between the lines, so I knew what she meant. But, the joke sticks with me, and every dye day set aside on my schedule you'll hear me humming a little jingle I make up on the spot about it " being a good day to die " , something to the tune of " take the Chevy to the levy ..."

ANYWAY, with temps being in the upper 90's with low humidity but a lot of smoke in the air ( from the GA wild fires) it wasn't a good day for any outside activities yesterday ...... I happened upon the 20-30 bags of white angora fiber in my closet in the morning and started to soak the first few bags worth of fiber to be able to dye in the afternoon. In general I dye spun yarns, but, I have a spinning clientele for dyed angora fibers, and the sell well to folks that want to blend colored angora with other fibers and make colorful bats to spin.
Raw angora dyes well in the pot if it's wetted well, all air bubbles removed and lots of dye powder used, angora does soak up 2 times more dye pigment then sheep's wool to get the same color tone.
While the wool was wetting, my daughter and I ran to town quickly for some errands and to do our bi weekly treasurer hunt at our local thrift store. Well, a hunt it is every time, they get so much new stuff dropped off every week, and the real good stuff leaves as quick as it comes in. While looking at baby toys in the baby stuff section, I find a round mesh thing, well, bells go off in my head. I pull it out of the jumble of strollers and car seats, and sure enough, a brand new, working order drying rack for : Baby clothes ?? underwear ??
Wire frame - plastic mesh, big hock on top to hang about anyplace. I took it to the register to get a price - $1.00 I am quoted - SALE !!!!!!!!!!
2 hours later it's hanging in my big pine tree in front of my house, ready to hold my first two batches of dyed angora...........

Isn't this the cutest thing ?? each tier is about 2 1/2 feet wide, and holds about 6 ounces of angora if really spread out. Here we have mint green on top and aqualon blue on the bottom . I use square sweater drying racks purchased at our Walmart for drying angora fiber, but, because they are low on the ground, I can only use them inside the house, my feral cats like to lay on top of any fiber I try to dry outside. Sweater racks = kitty hammocks.

By the evening I had 3 more dye pots finished, navy blue, sky blue and peacock. The last color looks very interesting and I can't wait to examine it when dry and card it into bats . I hope to be able to dye a few more colors today, a few more greens, and then into the reds.

The finished fibers will be carded on my drum carder, wound into small bumps and sold in my Etsy store. Next plan is to dye some Merino/ silk roving that I have into coordinating or matching colors and blending angora with the merino / silk for a mixed fiber blend.

Dyeing is so much fun !!!!!

Today will be a very busy day - Ivomec 3/4 of all rabbits ( all but the pregnant Ladies and the little babies ) , sex Cinnamon's litter for the first time - give nest boxes to AA's Q-tip and AA's Calypso to prepare for their due date next week. Pick up rental car at noon at local Enterprise branch ( my 10 year old Van is finally busting at all seams and can only be taken out for short trips around town, walking distance to home just in case ) and drive to Macon GA to pick up a batch of feed and hay cubes. Did I mention that there isn't a bale of hay available anywhere in GA ?? Severe drought conditions and no hay was cut or will be cut, it isn't growing but all died. Tomorrow I am making a trip up to Atlanta to meet with friends and family and attend an annual garden party . Sunday is reserved for Van shopping and running from lot to lot in Macon to look for a cheap but slightly used Van that I can afford payment wise. It has to be a Van so that I can haul stuff.

I hope everyone will enjoy this weekend, hug a bunny and be good to each other, here are two pictures to meditate over, taken from my flower bed yesterday, the only vegetation that I can keep alive by watering besides my herb garden and my veggies. Enjoy:)
